North West College wants to see you succeed! The goal of our Counsellors is to find ways to accommodate learning for students, in spite of a limitation or barrier. This could include the use of specialized equipment or software to meet learning needs, finding a quiet place for exams, extra time or having an oral exam.

My name is Toyin Awosile, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Learning and Wellness Service Counsellor here at North West College. As a counsellor with North West College (NWC), my role is to assist you in navigating both challenges and opportunities of student life, whether you need counselling on personal issues, stress management, academic planning, grant application or simply someone to listen.

You can inquire at the front desk about the location of my office. I eagerly anticipate meeting you and collaborating to help you excel both academically and personally.

My name is Kaylee Fettig and I am the new counsellor here at North West College. I am so excited to come back to my roots that is being here at the college - but now as a part of the staff.

I provide confidential counselling to both staff and students, offering a safe and supportive space to talk through personal, emotional, or academic challenges. My role also includes assisting individuals in navigating the process of applying for disability grants and academic related support services. Whether you're facing day-to-day stress, dealing with a personal concern, or seeking guidance on available resources, I’m here to help you access the support you need.

Technology Supports

NWC provides educational and assistive technology support for all students with regards to their academic learning. While using technology can be daunting at first, NWC will ensure that you feel well-supported throughout your learning journey.
