This could include the use of specialized equipment or software to meet learning needs, finding a quiet place for exams, extra time or having an oral exam.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training
To support friends, family members, colleagues and others, LWS has partnered with Roots of Hope to bring you Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training. This training will teach you practical skills to support someone with a mental health problem. Make a real difference to people in your community. Trainings are open to students, staff and the public!

As a counsellor with North West College (NWC), my role is to assist you in navigating both challenges and opportunities of student life, whether you need counselling on personal issues, stress management, academic planning, grant application or simply someone to listen. Technology Supports
NWC provides educational and assistive technology support for all students with regards to their academic learning. While using technology can be daunting at first, NWC will ensure that you feel well-supported throughout your learning journey.
This includes:
- 1:1 Individualized training sessions
- Google classroom support
- Brightspace (D2L) support
- Assistive Technolgoy support
- Group sessions
- Any general technology support
