Overview

This program is a 22-week program designed to prepare students interested in a career path as an Electrician. There will be 21 weeks of training and 1 week of direct industry experience achieved by either work placement or through special projects work placement. The program prepares students to layout, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in all types of building and other structures. This program includes all required learning outcomes to meet Saskatchewan Construction Electrician Apprenticeship Technical Training, Level One.

Admission Requirements

* Grade 11 with Math 20, or Foundations of Math 20, or Workplace and Apprenticeship Math 20, or Pre-Calculus 20 and Science 10.
* Mature Admission, 21-years-of-age or older.
* Academic Assessment.
