Introducing Ron Crush as the Newest NWC Board Member

North Battleford, SK – We are pleased to announce and introduce Ron Crush, the newest member of the North West College Board of Governors!

Ron has called North Battleford home since 1980 working for 35 years with the Government of Saskatchewan administering Water Rights legislation within the NW region. He is a mediator having provided mediation services to Ministries of Justice and Social Services. Now semi-retired, he works at Guys Furniture in an administrative role for 3 of its 4 stores as well helps his son and family out at their farm. Cycling and Masonry take up some of his leisure time.

Elected as Councillor for the City of North Battleford from 2009 – 2012 and having served on many Boards and volunteer groups over the years while in North Battleford, he remains passionate about North Battleford with a strong commitment to community and its resources.

Ron is a dedicated Dad/Papa to his 2 adult children and his 4 grand children. From generation-to-generation Education is paramount, needing to adapt and evolve to meet community and regional needs; so as a board member he intends to help strengthen educational programs, support student success, and ensure that the institution continues to meet the needs of the community and region in developing its future workforce.
