This year NWC was up against several other fantastic educational institutions in the Post-Secondary category. We are thankful that the BOB Awards provide an avenue for recognition of the work that we are all engaged in to improve opportunities for advancement in our communities. NWC is proud to work collaboratively with all our local educational institutions to offer the very best education close to home.
“It is an honor to be recognized with this award, and receiving it for the second year in a row underscores the important role that North West College provides as the primary post-secondary educational and skills training institution for the Battlefords and Meadow Lake communities” said North West College President and CEO Dr. Eli Ahlquist.
NWC is proud to offer opportunities for skills development in our communities with affordable tuition rates, programs offering strong employment outcomes for our alumni, a generous scholarship program, as well as opportunities for employers to support employees in upskilling. If you are interested in partnering with NWC to meet your business or organization’s training and professional development needs, reach out to our Business Development Coordinators for further information and discussion.
“Receiving the BOB Award again this year demonstrates the kind of support from our communities here on campus and beyond that we are fortunate to receive” said North West College Vice-President of Marketing and Student Experience Dr. Priscilla Lothian. “We take our role as a regionally focused educational institution seriously and are always looking for ways to respond to community needs as a collaborative partner with local industry and community groups.”
If you are looking for opportunities for employee recruitment or charitable giving, NWC can initiate branded scholarships targeting programs of interest to your industry with matching dollars from the Government of Saskatchewan to increase your scholarship’s impact.
