WHMIS - Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System- Online 2025-2026
Overview
WHMIS is a short form for Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. It is a comprehensive plan for providing information on the safe use of hazardous materials used in Canadian workplaces. Information is provided by means of product labels, material safety data sheets (MSDS) and worker education programs. This online course will equip participants with the skills needed to safely identify and handle hazardous materials in the workplace.

If you are interested in a group, in-person course for your organization, please contact the College at 306-937-5146 for more information. The in-person class runs for 4 hours (3 hours of classroom time and 1 hour to complete the exam). Please note that each participant is only allowed one attempt to pass the final exam.
Course cost: Online: $50.00
In-person: TBD
Course time: Due to the self-study format you can complete the course at your own time and pace. On average, it takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete the course and exam.
How to enroll:
Students can enroll at any time. Once enrolled, they will have access to the course content and will be able to complete the exam for up to 30 days following registration. There are two ways to enroll:
