Overview

WHMIS is a short form for Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. It is a comprehensive plan for providing information on the safe use of hazardous materials used in Canadian workplaces. Information is provided by means of product labels, material safety data sheets (MSDS) and worker education programs.

IN-PERSON CLASSROOM COURSE

Course dates: In-person course dates are determined based on public interest or can be scheduled for groups.  Please contact the College at 306-937-5117 for more information.

Time required: Approximately 3 hours of classroom time plus 1 hour to complete the exam. (Participants are given 1 attempt at the final exam).
