ABC's of Computer Literacy

Learners in this course should understand the basic operations of a computer: how to turn it on, using a keyboard, computer navigation, as well as knowing the basic parts of a computer. Students should also have regular access to a computer outside of class time.

In this class, students will develop a proficiency with the internet and Microsoft Office 2016.

Topics include:

  • Basic computer refresher (computer components and intro to Windows 10)
  • Outlook (email) 
  • Navigating the internet
  • Microsoft Word, basics
  • Microsoft Excel, basics
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, basics

Course Dates: March 4 - April 1, 2020 (Wednesdays)

Course Times: Wednesday evenings: 6:30 - 9:30pm
Note: This course begins promptly at 6:30pm. Please arrive early to complete the registration process.
