SW 100 - Foundations in Social Work

An exploration of social issues confronting the state, social welfare agencies and social workers in addressing and responding to structural inequalities and human need. Will also consist of an introduction to the functions of social work in Canada and the roles carried by social workers in delivering sevices. 

Admission Requirements

SW 100 should be taken as the first Social Work course. Effective September 1, 2007 SW 100 is a required course for the completion of the BSW program.
