COVID-19 Update - July 14, 2021

Effective July 11, 2021, Saskatchewan entered into Step Three of it’s Re-Opening Roadmap and the public health order and all restrictions relative to COVID-19 was lifted.  The province is expecting all businesses, workplaces and schools will continue to implement their own policies through our own respective Occupational Health and safety plans.

As a result of the above and with the continued focus of the safety of our staff, students and community is of the utmost importance.  NWC will ensure its alignment with the Government of Saskatchewan.

However, COVID-19 is not gone.  The risk of transmission of COVID-19 is still a possibility, especially since approximately 3 out of 10 individuals in Saskatchewan will still not be fully vaccinated as of July 11, 2021.  It is important that we all continue to do our part to help stop the spread.

The College is now open to the public.

The College will continue to monitor the impacts of the new provincial direction, and we ask all college community members to follow the following until further notice:

1 – Stay home if you are sick

 2 - Preventing the spread of Covid-19

            Wash your hands frequently

Use sanitizer when soap and water are not available

 3 - Masking

We are a mask friendly environment and although masking is not mandatory; we recommend masking in close contact areas.

Together let’s create an environment that respects the choices of others.

We encourage individuals who are unvaccinated to continue masking.

We appreciate your patience as we continue through the provinces Re-open plan and our college’s.

On behalf of Executive Management, stay healthy everyone.
