COVID-19 Update - March 4, 2021

On behalf of Executive Management:

The College has been informed of one positive case of COVID-19 at our Meadow Lake campus.  All College community members confirmed positive are required to self-isolate until cleared by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. We are working closely with Public Health officials to ensure necessary measures to protect all students and staff.

Public Health will be contacting individuals who may have been in close contact with the case and providing direction.  If you do not hear from them, you have not been exposed because of the measures in place.  The risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact is low.  Due to privacy considerations, personal information will not be released, and we ask you to respect others' privacy.

We remind everyone entering all campus and program sites to monitor for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. Remember, masks are mandatory at all College facilities at all times, except while in an area enclosed setting to which students and members of the public do not normally have access, and the individual is alone. Please remember that physical distancing is still a requirement even when wearing a mask.

North West College continues to follow Covid-19 safety protocol to ensure the safety of our staff and students. You can find the safety protocol on the Navigator web portal. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your supervisor.

If you are sick, please stay home.

Please visit northwestcollege.ca for additional information.  For further information regarding COVID-19, please visit the Government of Saskatchewan COVID-19 website.

Stay safe,

Executive Management Team
