Christmas Break

The College will be closed for Christmas Break, from December 23, 2019 - January 3rd, 2020 - re-opening on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 8:00am.

Some interesting Christmas trivia:

  • Tinsel was invented in 1610 in Germany and was once made of real silver.
  • Brenda Lee recorded “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” when she was only 13 years old.
  • Nova Scotia is the world’s leading exporter of Christmas trees.
  • The most expensively dressed Christmas tree–valued at $11,026,900–was seen in the United Arab Emirates last year.
  • The first artificial Christmas Tree wasn’t a tree at all. It was created out of goose feathers that were dyed green.
